Terms of Service
Last updated: June 19, 2026 (EDT)
These are the terms that apply when you browse Brickonia or buy from us. They are written to be read, not skimmed past.
1. Who we are
Brickonia is an independent online store based in Québec, Canada.
LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this site. Brickonia is an independent reseller of genuine LEGO® sets.
We have no affiliation, partnership, or endorsement relationship with the LEGO Group. We never claim one, and nothing on this site should be read as implying one.
2. What we sell
- Genuine LEGO® sets, new and factory-sealed, purchased from authorized distributors.
- We retain supplier invoices for every product line we sell; "genuine" is a claim we can document.
- Product availability reflects real stock. Retirement or scarcity notices appear only when the LEGO Group has publicly announced them.
3. Orders
- An order is an offer to buy; it is accepted when we send the order confirmation.
- We may decline or cancel an order where we have a serious reason (suspected fraud, pricing error as described below, product no longer obtainable). If we cancel, you are refunded in full, promptly, and told why.
- You may cancel an order at no cost any time before it ships. Write to us at hello@brickonia.com.
4. Prices and mistakes
- Prices are shown in CAD for Canada and USD for the United States, plainly, with shipping estimated before checkout. Applicable taxes are shown per your market's rules.
- If a clear pricing error slips through (a misplaced decimal happens to the best of us), we will contact you before doing anything: you can confirm at the corrected price or cancel with a full refund. We will not silently cancel and relist.
5. Shipping and returns
Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy and returns by our Returns and Refunds Policy, both written in plain language, both part of these terms.
6. Your account and conduct
- Account features are optional; buying does not require newsletter signup or any subscription.
- Don't use the site to do anything unlawful, to scrape at abusive volumes, or to interfere with other builders' use of it.
7. Intellectual property
- The 3D renders, build animations, page designs, and text on this site are ours (© Brickonia) or used under license. You may not reuse them commercially without permission.
- Our 3D models derive from files by LDraw Official Model Repository authors, used under their CC-BY licenses. Author and license are credited on each product page and on our credits page; those attributions are part of the work and must be preserved in any permitted reuse.
- Catalog data is sourced from Rebrickable.
- All LEGO® trademarks, the brick-and-knob configurations protected by the LEGO Group's rights, box art, and official imagery belong to the LEGO Group. Our use of the word "LEGO®" is nominative: it names the genuine products we resell.
8. Disclaimers and liability
- We sell the sets; we do not manufacture them. Manufacturer quality issues are nonetheless our problem to help solve. See the Returns and Refunds Policy.
- To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under the Civil Code of Québec, Québec's Consumer Protection Act, or other applicable consumer law, and those protections always prevail over these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
For consumers, mandatory consumer protection rules of your place of residence continue to apply, and disputes may be brought before the courts of your place of residence where the law so provides.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above moves when we do. Material changes get a plain-language note. Changes never apply retroactively to orders already placed.
